Humanity

Many times I sit down and think of all the mayhem that is happening all around the world. What specially amazes me is the way humans are harming more & more fellow humans, sometimes for religion, othertimes for language or even for caste or race or color!
Aren't we supposed to live happily with all the others in this world, aren't we also the part of eco-system known as earth? Why can't we put an end to all the discrimination, intolerance and unfair treatment meted out to people by other people?
Why do we want everything rosy and fair for ourselves but don't hesitate to create problem for others? Why don't we understand that humanity must come before religion, country, race or language etc.?
May be we humans don't learn from our mistakes in the past and I sincerely hope that we don't need any bitter lesson to learn the code of conduct known as humanity!
