Destiny...

What is Destiny? Do I have one? Who wrote mine? Does everyone have their own? Why is destiny so important? Can we re-write our own destiny?
There are so many questions which I have regarding destiny.
Well to be frank, I believe in destiny. But I also believe that destiny can be re-written if you have faith upon yourself.
Everyone has his/her own destiny and life of every person revolves around their destiny. It is not the force which keeps us down but it is the factor which plays the most important part in shaping our whole life. We must not take our destiny for granted but we should not be afraid of it also.
Destinies of many people are usually interwined and this leads to some new twist or turn in lives of people. Well I am not a pessimitic person but somehow I feel that we can't run away from our destiny. We should face our destiny with courage whether it is good or bad. After all it is the courage, faith and sense of hope that matters in life.

Birthday, again?

Today is my birthday and I am all alone here in Melbourne. It is really difficult to even guess where life is going to take you next. Last year on the same date, I couldn't have even imagined in my strangest dream that I would be here in Melbourne during my next birthday.
Well life takes us through bizzare twists and turns, no one is sure of what is going to happen next. What we could do is to hope that all be well.

Why so much hatred???

This is my 2nd trip to Melbourne and this time the place looks familiar. But just a day before my arrival, one of my friend in Melbourne who is also my team-mate was mugged by some 8-9 drunk people. They tried to snatch his purse, beat him up and also tried to strike him with a bottle. He was lucky to have escaped with minimum damages but still got a ligament tear in his shoulder. The guys who attacked him also abused him racially. It was a real sad event and a very bad experience for my friend.
What I fail to understand is why do we keep so much of hatred for each-other? People hate each other on the basis of language, caste, color, nationality, economy and God knows what reason! Can't all of human beings live on this earth in peace and tranquility, can't we learn to love and respect each other?
Hatred is the bane of humanity and it needs to be suppressed. We must let love rule our earth and our minds.
But then earth will not remain earth, it will become heaven....isn't it?
