Rainy Days

Really miss those rainy days, when reaching the school completely drenched there is a sweet surprise awaiting you.
Hurry! The school is closed today.
Really wonder if there are rainy day offs in the schools in Bangalore, because rainy season here extends to almost 3-4 months as compared to 1-2 months in my home town Kanpur.
When I was in college in Delhi we used to wait for the rainy season with bated breath. That was our freedom from intense hot climate, but most of the times monsoon ditched us.
Anyways college days are things of past but what if there were rainy day closes in offices too? Well we had couple of half day's last year when due to heavy rains the Silk Borad junction was flooded and many people celebrated a virtual rainy day because of the severe jams on Hosur Road.
Beware junta, Bangalore rainy season is on the doorstep. Be ready to get wet and jammed!
